Version 3.6.3 Released

Version 3.6.3 (released 2/25/2019)

  • Fixed Text/Number filter
Wasn’t opening properly. Bug introduced in 3.6.1
    Misc bug fixes

Version 3.6.2 (pre-release)

  • Removed Import option
  • While limited the import works to save time on importing, it wasn’t worth the possibility of user error causing inaccurate reporting. Removed.

Version 3.6.1 – Released

  • Increased the number of personal installations
Starting with version 3.6.1, I have decided that I want to make MintToReport as convenient as possible. I would guess, 50% or more of my customers have 2 or more computers. So, the following licensing changes have been implemented:
    1) The Standard Windows License has been increased from 1 to 3 concurrent installations
    2) The Standard MacOS License has been increased from 1 to 3 concurrent installations
    3) The Bronze License has been increased from 3 to 5 concurrent installations
    4) The Silver License has been increased from 5 to 10 concurrent installations

  • New Filter Lock
The “Filter Lock” button locks your current filter (date, accounts, categories ..). When pressed (locked), you can still customize your report, but when you click the Reset button, instead of RESETTING your report back to the default report, It will select your locked filter. You find this invaluable if you need to run multiple reports using the same filter. For me, perfect for figuring out my Payroll and Sales tax.
  • New Update Import option
Normally, when you import, MintToReport removes all the current transactions and replaces them with the new imported transactions. This is fine since you don’t really edit transactions in the software. But, for users who import frequently or on a slow machine, there is a new option to import only New transactions from a certain date, defaulting to the last day you imported.
  • Added a new Options Button
I get many emails from folks asking me if certain options are available, like display and printing the Notes Field. Many are, but people don’t know to look in the Options. Hopefully, the button will help users realize there are program options.
  • Added a date and time stamp to the backup.
  • Added more tools
Now you can clear the Transactions, Categories, and Settings individually without having to RESET the whole program, to say, reset your categories.
  • Now correctly supports are Canadian neighbors date and money formats (French Canadian)
I wanted to thank those French-speaking users who helped me straighten this out. Thanks.
  • Fixed: The 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters in the Range Selections were not working correctly.
  • Fixed: Accounts are now correctly sorted
  • Fixed: Some report headers were being cut off.
  • Changed Database Location
For customers who need to know where the MintToReport Database is located, it was moved in this version. To see the new location, in MintToReport, click on the Tools Menu > Database Tools > Program Paths.
