Version 3.0.1 Now Available for Win 32-bit, Win 64-bit and macOS versions!

Finally, Windows 64-bit and macOS versions are now available. Since MintToReport has been on the market for more than two years now, to keep it simple, both Windows 64-bit and the macOS version are going to have the same version number as the Windows 32-bit version. Since all of the three OS versions of MintToReport 3 were created from the same source code, it just made sense.

For those that currently have a current license of MintToReport for Windows, you will be able to upgrade to a different OS version at no cost. Your support will need to be current, though. This FREE upgrade might not last for long as there could be an upgrade charge to move to a different OS version down the road, so take advantage of it now!

3.0.1 changes for all OS Version (2/2/2017)

  • Moved Accounts to the filter panel so now you don’t just have a choice of pulling reports from 1 or all accounts. You now can pick and choose.
  • MintToReport no longer needs to restart after a new import, when loading the DEMO database or moving categories around.
  • Increased the speed of the Transaction, Description, Category, Tag, and Account reports by about five times of their original creation time. This is really a noticeable difference, especially when resetting your report with the Reset Report button (I am still working to increase the import speed).
  • Increased the loading time when launching the application by setting the Date Range to this year. (This will probably be an option down the road if people ask for it).
  • Made changes to the Online Help file to fit better in MintToReport’s Browser.
  • Dragging and Dropping filters is much smoother when scrolling up or down the list while dragging.
  • Now if you recall a saved User Report, MintToReport remembers the name of the report. When you go to save the next User Report, it will prefill the last report recalled in case you want just to update it.
  • Rearranged the buttons giving more room for text and more space between them. Just felt like the right thing to do.
  • Added a Right Mouse Button Popup Menu to the Category Filter. It includes Expand All, Collapse All, Check All and Uncheck All. Also added a Popup Menu to the Account and Tag Filters to easily uncheck them without having to use the Reset Report Button or uncheck each one individually.
  • Changed the behavior when dragging and dropping Categories. The earlier versions would collapse all the categories after dropping one, making it hard to tell if you dropped it in the right location. Now the category location stays open after you drop a category.
  • MAC VERSION: Importing is now much smoother. Correctly calculates the progress bar keeping the application from looking like it is locked up.
  • MAC VERSION: Now supports Mac’s Full-Screen Mode.
  • MAC VERSION: Created a proper Mac application menu.
  • MAC VERSION: Help Menu > MintToReport’s Website was not launching browser
  • MAC VERSION: About MintToReport > Purchase Button was not launching browser
  • Disabled sizing of Filter Panel when viewing help file. Just caused problems and not necessary.
  • Increased minimum size of Filter Panel to make viewing expanded categories easier to see. It just looks better.
  • Now only allows one instance of the program to run at a time to ensure database integrity.
  • Added support for Mint.com’s date format otherwise users who didn’t have the same format as Mint.com’s export file would fail.
  • TRIAL VERSION: No longer limits transactions in the Trial Version. The trial still disables printing and adds a copyright watermark on all reports.
